The Bergen County Players (BCP) closes its highly successful 2013-2014 season with a presentation of "My Favorite Wife" – a Players Radio Theatre Production. Under the direction of Jerry Hurley, "My Favorite Wife" will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell on Saturday, June 7th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, June 8th at 2:00 PM, and both performances are close to a sellout. Remaining tickets are just $10 and can be purchased online at www.bcplayers.org, by calling 201-261-4200 or by visiting the box office at 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell during regular box office hours.

It’s been a few years, but Players Radio Theatre is back with another live broadcast from the stage of the Little Firehouse Theatre! Based on a poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson, the story about a wife who comes home after being shipwrecked for seven years only to find her husband newly remarried was made into an unforgettable 1940 screwball comedy film starring Irene Dunne and Cary Grant. Originally performed by the Screen Director’s Playhouse in 1950, this one hour radio script will be faithfully recreated on our stage with amazing sound effects and vocal tricks while streaming over the internet for a
worldwide audience!

The talented cast of "My Favorite Wife" includes: Margie Druss Fodor (Ellen), Emma Fodor (Chinch), Casey Giblin (Timmy), Amanda Roy (Bianca), David Luke (Announcer), Harry Bates (Pentwhistle), Bill Cantor (Nick), Penny Kaspar (Judge), Lori Milchman (Mother, Commercials), Kathleen Ruland (Commercials), Terri Caust (Commercials) and Zaccary Caust (Commercials).

The crew includes: Jerry Hurley (Director), Rhea Smith (Producer), Geri Berhain (Stage Manager), Michael Smith (Set Construction), Paul Reitnauer (Social Media and Sound Design), Rosemary DeFlorio (Light Operation), Michele Roth (Sound Operation), Howard Kerner and Rob Kopil (Foley operators), Matt Rofofsky (Publicity) and Michael Smith (Photography).
