Five college students spending a weekend in an abandoned cabin in the woods accidentally unleash an evil terror. In this comedic take on the 1980's horror franchise, characters and demons sing and dance to songs written specifically for the musical.
Open auditions will be held on:
Tuesday March 28 and Thursday March 30, 2017 at 7:30
Callbacks will be on Saturday April 1 at 12:00 pm

Director Christian Carrara is seeking to fill the following roles:
20s - Hero of the show. Devoted housewares employee at S-Mart who starts off cowardly but ends up a wise cracking demon slayer. Must have a strong stage presence.
ANNIE / SHELLY AND OTHERS
20s Annie is slightly overbearing and quite bossy. She is smart, however, and ends up falling in love with Ash.
Shelly is very much not smart and is just looking to have fun with Scott. Must be able to play both parts.
CHERYL AND OTHERS
20s Ash’s little sister. Initially scared and prudish; she is the first to turn into a demon where she becomes very foul mouthed and crass.
SCOTT AND OTHERS
20s Ash’s best friend. Scott is the prankster of the group. Scott is also very crass and a little rude and only has intentions of getting it on with Shelly.
LINDA AND OTHERS
20s Ash’s girlfriend. Very sweet and innocent. She is deeply in love with Ash. All that changes when she becomes a demon…
JAKE AND OTHERS
20s A guide through the woods. Jake is very confident and very full of himself. He can also be stubborn and opportunistic.

FAKE SHEMP AND OTHERS
20s Fake Shemp is actually not a character, but a collection of characters. Can be played by a male or female. Must be capable of physical comedy.
Auditioners are asked to prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. You will be asked to read a brief monologue which will be provided. Also dress comfortably because there will be a brief dance/movement audition. Please note that most actors cast in the show will be required to portray multiple parts.
