HUDSON THEATRE WORKS PRESENTS A FREE READING OF ‘RHINOCEROS’

HUDSON THEATRE WORKS

PRESENTS
A FREE READING OF

"RHINOCEROS"

BY

IONESCO
part of our

READINGS FROM THE EDGE SERIES

THIS THURSDAY, MARCH 16 @7:30PM

at the

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

98 Columbia Terrace, Weehawken NJ.

Directed by Michael Bias, New Jersey Theatre Alliance presents Hudson Theatre Works' "Readings from the Edge".  Ionesco's 1959 play "Rhinoceros", dramatizes logic's folly in the face of evil. All the citizens' issues seem hilariously and harrowingly beside the point when rhinoceroses are trampling cats, destroying buildings, and making such a racket in the background that it's hard to hear one person's solutions to government over another's ideas for change.  This event is part of the Alliance's Stages Festival, the state's largest annual theatre festival that provides free and discounted theatre events for all ages throughout the month of March.

Readings From the Edge Continues

on Thursday, March 23 @7:30PM

With a reading of "1984" by Orwell.
