Bugs Bunny is back and better than ever! Celebrate Looney Tunes and its legendary stars, including Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Sylvester, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner and, of course, our very favorite “wascally wabbit.”  Enjoy classics including Long-Haired Hare (in its first East Coast concert appearance on the big screen), What’s Opera, Doc? and Baton Bunny, alongside new Warner Bros. 3D theatrical shorts Coyote Falls and Rabid Rider. Kids of all ages will enjoy hearing the extraordinary musical scores performed live and perfectly in-sync with all the on-screen action.

NJSO Youth Orchestras, CHAMPS perform spring concerts

The student musicians of the NJSO Youth Orchestras and NJSO CHAMPS showcased their talents at their spring concerts this month. The Youth Orchestras program featured a solo performance by Henry Lewis Concerto Competition winner Noel Cho; NJSO Music Director Xian Zhang made a special appearance to conduct at last week’s CHAMPS concert.

Hear CHAMPS give a free performance with fellow El Sistema New Jersey Alliance programs at the Alliance’s annual Fiddle-and-Fa-La-La Fest on Sunday, June 3, in Paterson.

NJSO Youth Orchestras to hold auditions June 10

Auditions for the NJSO Youth Orchestras’ ensembles will take place on Saturday, June 10, at Rutgers–Newark’s Bradley Hall. Students in grades 4–11 who play orchestral instruments, from beginner to advanced levels, can apply for membership.
