Center Players will host another voiceover workshop for teens and adults on Saturday, Jan. 20th from 1-4pm at Center Playhouse, 35 South St, in downtown Freehold, NJ.

The workshop will be instructed by Bryant Falk, a corporate producer, director and professional voiceover commercial coach, and his technical team from Abacus Entertainment, NYC. Falk held a similar, well-received workshop at Center Playhouse in 2017. Participants will learn about and use voiceover equipment, and will explore the possibilities of full and part-time paid work for TV, commercials, training videos, cartoons and video games.

Falk and the Abacus professionals have taught voiceover programs at Stella Adler Acting School, Hofstra University, Brooklyn College and Actors’ Connection and developed school programs for several New York high schools and other educational centers. Abacus’ media clients include Footlocker, Bloomberg, Walmart, Genetech, AMC, MTV, and the NBA. Some of their renowned clients include Steve Kamer – Voice of Inside Edition, Steven Zirnkilton – Voice of Law and Order and Sam Fontana – Bloomberg Radio Campaign. The registration fee is $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged by calling 732-462-9093 or online at www.centerplayers.org.

Center Players’ 2017-18 season will resume with a production of “Lovers and Other Strangers” by Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna, running from Feb. 9-March 11th. Next will be Dale Wasserman’s “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” running from May 4 – June 3rd, and rounding out the season will be “Dinner with Friends,” written by Donald Marguiles, running July 27-August 26th.

Celebrating its 17th season at Center Playhouse, Center Players is a respected, award-winning dessert theater group, presenting high quality, engaging productions featuring local talent in historic downtown Freehold. In addition to their signature plays, the group also sponsors free play reading events and offers dinner and theater packages with several local restaurants.
