New Play Readings by Hudson Theatre Works

PlayWorks Readings of new plays by some of New Jersey's best playwrights.
Hudson Theatre Works believes that the best way to build a professional theatre is to develop and produce new works. PlayWorks is the first step in this process.

Schedule:October 24th - "The Bar Down the Corner" written and directed by Jeff Hughes

November 7th - "Jackson is Gone" by Joanne Hoersch, directed by Lauren Moran Mills

November 14th - "Elder Skelter" by Damien Gray, directed by Frank Licato

November 21st - "No Good Deed" by Eric Conger, directed by Frank Licato   



JEFF HUGHES is the author of the plays Shore Points, In the Jersey City Moonlight, The Poor Don't Play Croquet and The Bar Down the Corner.  He won the 2009 Richard Rodgers Award for his book & lyrics to the musical Red Clay (music by Scott Ethier).  He is the creator of DaBearsBlog.com, currently under the auspices of the Chicago Tribune, and is managing editor/head writer of TheOtherSports.com.
