The Theatre at RVCC to present Danny, King of the Basement

RVCC Theatre
The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in Branchburg will present Roseneath Theatre’s production of Danny, King of the Basement, Friday, October 28, at 7 p.m. The performance is part of the Theatre’s Family Series and is recommended for families with children ages 8 and older. Tickets costs $25 each.

Danny’s life is all about embracing change. He and his mom are constantly on the move, struggling to evade homelessness and overcome poverty. But despite the adversity he faces, Danny takes on each new challenge creatively and with an energetic spirit, inspiring all he meets with his positivity, generosity, and humor. When Danny moves into a basement apartment on Clinton Street, the kids he meets have more problems than being hungry. But Danny’s imaginative play creates a community that allows his friends to cope with their problems and ultimately to help Danny tackle the shame he feels about his inability to read.
