Strollers need Mayfest Booth volunteers May 26

The Strollers are seeking volunteers to set up and man the Strollers Maplewood MayFest booth  this Sunday, May 26th.

Set-up is from 9:45-12 p.m. and involves putting up the canopy and setting up the table with literature, tix raffle items, and giveaways.

Manning the booth is from 12P - 5 p.m. - if you can put in a couple hours that's fine as long as we have the entire time covered.  It's a fun festival and a nice excuse to sit out on a beautiful day for a while and schmooze with passers by.

Break-down is at 5 p.m.

Please email Carol Cornicelli at with times you are available to help so she can make sure the booth is covered as she cannot be there that day.

The Resident Theatre Company at The Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts, 10 Durand Road, Maplewood, New Jersey, 07040.

Celebrating it's 12th Anniversary, the Maplewood MayFest has grown into one of Maplewood's largest community festivals and the Springfield Avenue Partnership's signature event. Visitors enjoy rides, games, 2 petting zoos, pony rides, live music, food (who doesn't love funnel cakes?), a classic car show and more than 100 participating vendors.

MayFest events will take place on Springfield Avenue from Indiana Street to Rutgers Street between the hours of 12nn to 5 p.m. With an emphasis on Maplewood, vendor participants include many local business, civic groups, and other community organizations.
