The Morris Museum kicks off 2015 with a production of Wait Until Dark in the Bickford Theatre. Written by Frederick Knott and adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, this electrifying thriller will play from January 29 through February 15.

An apartment in 1940s Greenwich Village becomes the site of a terrifying game of cat and mouse. Sinister con men trace the location of a mysterious doll, in which they have much interest, to the home of Sam and Suzy Hendrix, a photographer and his recently blinded wife. Unbeknownst to them, the doll is stuffed with diamonds.  The criminals concoct an elaborate hoax to persuade the wife to give them the doll. With the help of a teen-age neighbor, Suzy stalls their plans as she tries to figure out what’s happening that she cannot see. When the hoax fails, the criminals turn deadly. Lies, murder and deception build to a shattering climax when the playing field is leveled as all are plunged into darkness.    (EAST COAST PREMIERE)
