Light Opera of New Jersey is proud to present Stephen Sondheim’s Tony-Award winning classic A Little Night Music. Set at the turn of the 20th century in Sweden, A Little Night Music spins a tale exploring the meaning of love versus desire and the significance of family. Desiree Armfeldt, a once successful actress, must reconsider the decisions of her past when an old lover, Fredrik Egerman, returns to town with his young wife, Anne. Considering her young daughter Fredrika and overbearing mother Madame Armfeldt, Desiree must choose between her present liaison, insanely jealous Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm, and Fredrik during a dramatic weekend in the country with their wives and extended family.

This charming production is directed by Jeffrey Fiorello with music direction by Lois Buesser and is produced by Diane Giangreco.
