Auditions: ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum’ at Brundage Park Playhouse


Brundage Park Playhouse is holding auditions for its upcoming show A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Auditions are November 14 & 15 from 2pm – 4pm at the playhouse on Carrell Road in Randolph, NJ.

Auditioners must be 18 years or older and will be asked to come prepared to sing a Broadway show tune.  They will also be asked to read from sides, which will be provided. Please bring a headshot and/or resume to the audition. If you do not have a headshot, a photo will be taken at the audition.

Performance Dates:  February 19, 20, 21, 26 27 28 March 4, 5, 6

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a seriously hilarious Tony Award winning Broadway musical  that involves the scheming Psedulous, an ambitious slave in ancient Rome, who wants his freedom. By convincing his master’s son, Hero, to marry the lovely Philia, Psedulous hopes his master Senex will free him. A good plan, but as the opening song tells us: “Something familiar, something peculiar,
something for everyone: a comedy tonight!”
