a new play co-commissioned by NJPAC and
Writers Theatre of New Jersey

New York Times article on NJPAC Stage Exchange: The Commissions.
describes NJPAC Stage Exchange as:

"Works that are set in New Jersey and that speak to local issues."

Join us for a reading and discussion of Chisa Hutchinson's Surely Goodness and Mercy. With a title taken from the Book of Psalms, this play is about faith, hope, and love--and how the good will of ordinary people helps them get by in a world of violence and discrimination. This is the third of three staged readings that are part of 2016 NJPAC Stage Exchange: The Commissions.
The reading will be followed by a FREE public symposium on SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY and the topics of bullying, racial bias, and inadequate heathcare. Please lend your voice to the discussion!

Friday, June 24, 2016
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), in the Chase Room

Tickets to the reading are $5.00 & are available at (888) GO-NJPAC. All proceeds benefit NJ SEEDS. Symposium (beginning at 8:30 pm) is free.
