Ezra Barnes in 'Iago' at NJ Rep

I am appearing in James McClure's "Iago" at the New Jersey Repertory Company in Long Branch, an hour from NYC, August 25-September 25.

In plays like "Lone Star," "Pvt. Wars" and "Laundry and Bourbon," the late James McClure often dealt with lives forever changed by war. In "Iago," he brings his talent to backstage drama.
Three actors and a director are rehearsing "Othello." As rehearsals evolve and relationships entangle, McClure explores the nature of evil.

While inspired by the relationships of Laurence Oliver, Vivien Leigh, Peter Finch and Noel Coward, "Iago" is uniquely its own world.

And it is very funny.

"Iago" runs August 25-September 25. I appear with Todd Gearhart, Liza Vann and John FitzGibbon. SuzAnne Barabas is the director. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 3pm and 8pm; Sundays at 2pm.

I hope to see you at "Iago."
Ezra Barnes
