Circle Players to present 'Spike Heels' by Theresa Rebeck

Circle Players is to present the second production of 65th anniversary season, "Spike Heels” by Theresa Rebeck.

Pygmalion goes awry in this contemporary comedy of manners, which explores sexual harassment, misplaced amour, and the possibility of a four sided love triangle. The combatants are a sexy, volatile young woman and three Back Bay types: a writer, a lawyer and a fiancee in sensible shoes. The setting is Boston, the ending is happy and laughter abounds.

Performances will take place on the following dates:

· Fridays: Nov 4, Nov 18 at 8 pm

· Saturdays: Nov 5, Nov 12, Nov 19 at 8 pm

· Sunday: Nov 13, Nov 20 at 3 pm

A special talkback will be held following the Sunday, Nov 13 performance.

The play will be directed by Tom Frascatore of Weehaken, and produced by Jessica Damrow Sherman of Summit. The stage manager for this production will be Marijah Sroczynski of Piscataway.

Appearing in the cast are: Kara Wilson of Rahway as Georgie; Danny Siegel of Princeton as Andrew; David Bronovicki of Piscataway as Edward and Tess Ammerman of Montclair as Lydia.

Audiences are invited to join in a special wine and cheese reception in the theater lobby following the opening night performance.

The theater is located at 416 Victoria Avenue, Piscataway. Please be advised: due to the unique layout of this theater in the round, latecomers cannot be seated after the performance has started. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before curtain.
