Help to preserve the NEA!

We at Dreamcatcher ask you to act now to

help to preserve the NEA!

The new federal budget proposed by the President eliminates funding for the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

It is critical to contact your federal representatives and ask for their support.

This is not just about the arts.  This is about access, creativity, equity, community, history, and heritage. That means it's about everyone in this country, and everyone should care and speak up loudly. Your voice -- and your constituents' voices -- is important now and throughout the long budget process.

As Rep. Leonard Lance (R-NJ Dist. 7, Co-Chair of Congressional Arts & Congressional Humanities Caucuses) just stated, "A budget document is merely a blueprint...I will be working as hard as I can, internally and publicly, to make sure these programs are funded. All of my peers have arts venues in their districts. This affects all states and all congressional districts."

ArtPride NJ will lead advocacy efforts to support continued federal investment in the arts and culture with our national partner, Americans for the Arts. We will update you as we learn more throughout the budget process.

Thank you for supporting the arts as an important part of life in our state and nation. Remember that federal funding helps make art available and affordable for ALL US citizens.

Join us and ArtPride in this endeavor.
