Today is ‘#GivingTuesday’ Support the Arts!

November 28, 2017

Join the movement & give back

THE 6th ANNUAL Global Day of Giving Join the #UnSelfie movement!

November 28

On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
Did you know that all 31 of our member theatres are nonprofit organizations?
That means that they rely on our generous gifts to keep the shows running. Ticket sales alone only cover part of their operating costs. Click on a theatre listed below (in alphabetical order) to give them the gift of your support today!

Annual Appeal

Our 2017 Annual Appeal is starting -  a letter from our Board Chair is coming to a mail box near you - but why wait?  It's Giving Tuesday and there's no better time, and no easier way, to kick start our annual giving campaign than by clicking DONATE right here, right now!

Thanks to your support, we've had a great start this season.  Pattermania(highlights here) earned a  rave review, from here: "consummate performers . . . hilarious . . . The professionalism and stunning voices have come to be expected!"

And last year's summer production of Sweeney Todd at SOPAC drew record attendance, and garnered eight nominations from Broadway World, including Best Musical. (VOTE here!)

Please click DONATE  to take LONJ to greater heights!  We can't do it without you!

And while you're clicking away, please VOTE for LONJ nominees in the Broadway World categories below.

"Theatre On

The Edge"

Your Gift is Important to Us

Hudson Theatre Works opened its doors five years ago and set out on an improbable mission - to develop and produce new plays and classics that are thought provoking and challenging, with a mandate to keep ticket prices low, so that everyone can afford to see live theatre. We are still here and we are just getting started.  We produced our first Shakespeare play this fall and will continue this winter with our PlayWorks series of new play readings, many of which have gone on to be produced by theaters around the country, overseas and by us.  We will also produce our first 10 minute play festival and in the spring, Chekhov's classic play, Uncle Vanya.  Our developmental lab The Forge is up and running, creating a stable company of artists which deepens and enriches your theatrical experience and most importantly, with the generous support of the city of Weehawken, we have a new space with unlimited potential.  With your help, we will develop this space into a dynamic new theatrical home for the arts and educational programs. We need your support more than ever at this pivotal time to purchase lights, sound equipment, etc., so we can continue to bring you Off-Broadway quality theatre at affordable prices.

Hudson Theatre Works is a 501 (c) (3) organization and donations are tax deductible.

Hudson Theatre Works is a member of the

New Jersey Theatre Alliance.
