NJPAC Stage Exchange series of new-play readings starts Friday Feb. 9th

New-play development meets insightful community dialogue at the Stage Exchange, a collaboration of three professional New Jersey theaters and a talented trio of Garden State playwrights. Following readings and talkbacks of each work at the Stage Exchange, world premiere productions are staged by each dramatist’s partner theater.

The public is invited to hear the artistic staff of the participating theaters discuss the process of writing and developing a new play, and the unique aspects of the "StageX" program. There will also be a sneak peek of Darrah Cloud’s commissioned play, Turning.
Later this season, full-length readings of the selected plays will take place on Friday nights at NJPAC. They include:
Mar 2NJPAC Stage Exchange: "Turning" by Darrah Cloud
April 20NJPAC Stage Exchange: A new play by Stephen Fredericks
May 25NJPAC Stage Exchange: A new play by Tanya Saracho

Parking: There is ample parking in the garage at the intersection of Halsey and New Streets, as well as in nearby Military Park Garage.
