Twin Peaks (the band, not the revived David Lynch TV series) came out of Chicago’s famed DIY alt-rock scene. Known for its mix of garage rock and power pop, the band met in high school, formed in 2010 and have been winning fans worldwide, including high profile gigs at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, SXSW and the Reading & Leeds Festivals. Rolling Stone: “the spunk quartet pull off-Exile-era Stones strut and Velvet Underground guitar poesy with sophistication that's beyond their years.” Sharing the bill with Twin Peaks are The Districts, who hail from Pennsylvania – its Popular Manipulations, released last year, NPR said: “is a powerful and punchy set of songs by a group of men whose talent has finally caught up to its ambition” – and Montclair, N.J. own Trü.
