News from Holmdel Theatre Company READING TONIGHT

Holmdel Theatre Company
For the Sake of Mother written & directed by Di Shawn Gandy
Monday Night Reading TONIGHT!
Come on out tonight, August 5th, at 7PM for our Monday Night Reading of "For The Sake Of Mother"! Di Shawn J. Gandy is bringing his incredible new work to life on our stage. FREE admission, donations appreciated!
Benny, a successful Hollywood producer, surprises Summer, his aging movie-star wife with a birthday party while visiting their penthouse apartment in Manhattan. After the guests leave and the party wraps-up like one of Benny's blockbusters, they find themselves unexpectedly entertaining two after-party crashers that just don't seem to want to leave. Summer, a woman of class, sophistication and plenty of condescension for those beneath her economic and social status, looks down upon and insults the two stragglers on her way to bed. But Benny finds the streetwise couple to be quite entertaining and urges Summer to enjoy the evening with their new friends for just a bit longer. The night, however, turns out to have more surprises than expected when everyone's true identity and past are revealed.
We bid farewell to our production of NEXT TO NORMAL over the weekend with three sold out shows! Thank you to our incredible cast, crew, staff, and audiences for making the sendoff of our 30th Season so spectacular!
