A Doll's House, Part 2 Opens Friday, October 18th at CTG

The Chester Theatre Group presents A Doll's House, Part 2 starting on Friday, October 18th and extending for eight shows through Sunday, November 3rd. Performances are Friday and Saturdays at 8:00 and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are $20.00 with a discounted price of $18.00 for seniors over 65 and students under 18. In the final scene of Ibsen’s 1879 groundbreaking masterwork, A Doll's House's, Nora Helmer makes the shocking decision to leave her husband and children and begin a life on her own. In A Doll's House Part 2, many years have passed since Nora’s exit. Now, there’s a knock on that same door. Nora has returned. But why? And what will it mean for those she left behind?

Written by multi-award winning playwright Lucas Hnath, A Doll's House Part 2 had an extended run on Broadway. It received 8 Tony Award nominations, winning a Tony Award for Laurie Metcalf, who played Nora. Hnath’s other plays include Hillary and Clinton, Red Speedo, The Christians, A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney, Isaac’s Eye and Death Tax.

The talented cast of A Doll's House, Part 2 includes Amanda Marino in the role of Emmy; Sarah Henley of Washington in the role of Nora; Kate Lyn Reiter of Belvidere in the role of Ann Marie; and Kevern Cameron of Hamburg in the role of Torvald. The production is directed by Sky Spiegel Monroe.

The Chester Theatre Group performs in The Black River Playhbouse, an intimate, 100-seat theater in the heart of Chester Borough’s historic district.
