Casting Little Women the Musical with music by Jason Howland, book by Allan Knee, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein. Based on the classic book penned by Louisa May Alcott, Little Women the Musical follows the four March sisters and their beloved Marmee in Concord, Massachusetts while their father serves in the Union Army at the crux of the Civil War. Nominated for Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards, Little Women the Musical is a heartwarming story of love and family guaranteed to bring laughter, tears, and lift your spirits during this cozy time of year.

AUDITION INFO
We are accepting video auditions at this time. Please submit a video audition of you singing 32 bars of one musical theatre song in the style of the show, and 32 bars of one song of choice showing range. Include your resume with your submission.

OPEN ROLES
Professor Bhaer (25-40) - German Professor who exemplifies proper manners. He is a boarder in Mrs. Kirk's boarding house and eventually falls in love with Jo. Range: G2-F#4.
Mr. John Brooke (25-35) - Laurie's tutor and a rather stiff man; shows very little emotion. He later marries Meg and changes. Range: C#3-F#4.
Mr. Laurence (50-70) - Laurie's grandfather. A wealthy old man who lives next to the March family. Stern, patrician, and strait-laced. Range: D3-D4

NON-TRADITIONAL CASTING. Actors of of all ethnicities are strongly encouraged to audition. AEA members may audition for possible Guest Appearance Contract. For non-equity actors, there will be a small stipend available.
